So, what is Blossom?
We're an online publication that aims to tackle young adulthood from the perspective of other young adults. It is meant to be reflective, raw, and fun, diving into the nostalgia that old magazines give us. It’s for those who want to examine their emotions, feelings, and learn more about who they really are. It isn’t about answers, it’s about exploration through our personal stories.
Meet the Team
Maddy Sutka
(she/her)
Maddy is a recovering homeschool kid from Dallas, TX. She is the definition of type-A and brings that obsessive energy into everything she does. She lives in LA with her partner and his cat. When she's not working on Blossom, she works at her Big Girl social media job, which she thinks justifies her unhealthy TikTok obsession.
Lola Estok
(she/they)
Lola is a screenwriter from Philadelphia, PA. She splits her time between creating freelance content and daydreaming about one day working her way into a television writers' room. She's relieved to finally have an outlet for all of her niche pop culture takes, because her friends are really tired of getting 2 AM texts about Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23.

Adriene Vento
(they/them)
Adriene is an “offbeat” and “confrontational” artist who hates salad but loves the color green.
Lauryn Jackson
(she/they)
Lauryn was born and raised in north-central Texas before moving to Savannah to pursue a career in filmmaking. Lauryn’s got a love for indie films, alternative culture, and books that have yet to be read. As a filmmaker, she believes in romanticizing every part of your life and living “cinematically.”
Ines Maza
(she/her)
Ines is an international storyteller who is passionate about giving a voice to those who don’t have one. She has traveled to almost 20 countries in her 22 years and speaks four different languages which have allowed her to learn about so many different cultures. Her love of people is what pushed her to become a writer and share these stories.

Emma Oberle
(she/her)
Emma is that girl who hissed at people in grade school but then got hot so everyone forgot about it. Luckily, she got bullied just enough to still be kinda funny. These days she makes freelance art, works at Whole Foods, and hopes to maybe someday use her Dramatic Writing degree.

Josh Hoiem
(he/him)
Josh Hoiem is just a regular dude of no particular interest. He enjoys music and writing things from time to time, and is from Michigan, a fine state, but not overly noteworthy. Words used to describe him over the years are: Stoic, mysterious, bland, and pale. He is not good at writing bios, and we all hope he's better at writing articles.

Elizabeth Pamboukian
(she/her)
Elizabeth is a creative of all sorts but mostly a wannabe fashion journalist and historian. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in Fashion and Textile Studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. As a self-proclaimed “fashion nerd,” she is eager for more knowledge, passionate about storytelling, and the art of fashion.
Christina Lyn Jevicky
(she/her)
Christina is a writer and stay-at-home dog mother from Cincinnati, Ohio. Ever since she was a wee dingus, Christina has always been found writing poems, unfinished stories, and letters of indignation in her various notebooks. Christina currently resides in Hollywood, California with her chiweenie, “Sir Abner I”.
Meredith Waugh
(she/her)
Meredith is a writer and artist from Florida, based in New York. In 2019, she co-founded Undereye Productions, a collective for experimental films and music videos, with Kaitlyn Oliver. Currently, Meredith works as a freelance copywriter in Brooklyn, when she’s not painting, experimenting with fibers, or being cute as her instagram alter ego Lucy Lautrec.

Ellen Gillespie
(she/her)
Ellen Gillespie is a screenwriter, actor, and historophile who was unleashed from her stone tomb on the outskirts of Kansas City, KS. When she is not embroidering, she is consuming every period piece ever created, so someday, she can harness their power and write her own focusing on women, friendship, and platonic love. Though hard to define, she's easy to find on Instagram @itsmaebe_ekg.
