April Tarot Pulls

Hello there!

I’m Taia, and I’ve been reading tarot for two years and I’ve found that it is one of the most rewarding methods to use for self-reflection. I am a strong believer in achieving happiness and fulfillment through self-awareness and how we treat others.

There are thousands and thousands of ways to interpret tarot cards, though most of them have recurring themes that translate into the same general area. I am interpreting the following cards intuitively and listing some keywords that pop into my head as I read them. The keywords are there to help you follow my train of thought, so please don’t feel like these keywords are “concrete” definitions by any means.

Aquarius

  • 5 of Cups: grief, letting go

  • Knight of Cups: love offer, emotional stability

  • Ace of Cups: creativity, healing

The energy in this card pull feels very much like healing, acknowledging wounds, and “letting them go,” I feel like you may be getting over a hurdle, whether it’s a form of writers’ block or fatigue, or moving on from someone’s past hurtful actions without closure. I think you need to give yourself time to heal from this, instead of pushing forward and not acknowledging these emotions.

Clarifiers: Knight of Pentacles, Knight of Swords, 8 of Swords, 3 of Pentacles

With the clarifier cards added, this could also be a money issue. Maybe you’ve been feeling trapped, regarding a financial situation or problem, and now you’ve finally found relief. Some of you may be rebuilding your credit or trying to save up to move, buy a car, learn a trade, etc.

All in all, I wish you luck.

Amethyst and rose quartz may help you when it comes to heartbreak and healing, working with grief, etc. For financial matters, I recommend citrine and aventurine to draw money to you.

Gemini

  • High Priestess: intellect, vigilance, trusting your intuition

  • 10 of Pentacles: “coming up,” growth

  • 4 of Pentacles (reversed): unstable, shakiness

The High Priestess can be interpreted in a few ways (if we’re thinking secrets, withholding knowledge, psychic gifts, etc.). But for this pull, I feel like you’ve learned something new about the people surrounding you. The 10 of Pentacles definitely feels like a “knowledge boost,” like you’ve leveled up in a way. However, the 4 of Pentacles gives me the impression that there is still more work to be done. Don’t be discouraged!

Clarifiers: King of Cups, Queen of Cups, 9 of Swords, 3 of Swords

With these cards in mind, I get the sense that this growth you’ve obtained may not have been entirely welcomed. The Court cards feel like parental or authorial figures, who may have pushed you to this level up. The 3 of Swords suggests that this was painful, given the forcefulness behind the pushing. I feel for you! I think you can rest assured now that this shouldn’t happen again, and while the experience was painful, I believe that what you’ve learned was worth it. Hopefully.

I recommend rose quartz and meditation for the pain, as well as black tourmaline for protection.

Libra

  • 4 of Swords: rest your mind

  • Empress: abundance, generosity

  • Wheel of Fortune: change of pace, ending

It feels like something in your life has come to a natural end, and a new cycle may be beginning. Not to interpret the Empress so on the nose, but it really feels as if a new wave of optimism has rolled over you. Perhaps, you’ve taken a break from your stressors and it’s paying off in abundance, whether it be happiness, creativity, or just feeling like sharing the wealth.

Clarifiers: 2 of Pentacles, 5 of Pentacles, Knight of Swords, Star

With these cards in mind, I want to say that you’re coming into your own, finally doing what you want to do. I think that whatever was stressing you (Knight of Swords) is gone now. Maybe you did some budgeting or took a look at your life, addressing what needed your attention. Either way, the stressor is gone and you’re a better, happier person for it.

I recommend aventurine and rose quartz for you, to prolong this sense of peace and financial prosperity.

Aries

  • Knight of Pentacles: knowledge, studying

  • 5 of Swords: conflict, fights

  • 5 of Pentacles: test, financial stress

First impressions: There is something you are struggling to learn. Maybe this relates to your career. Or it’s simply a new routine of sorts that you’re trying to implement in your life. Sometimes, I interpret Pentacle cards to relate to self-esteem and ego, and since there is only one Swords card, it feels like whatever is going on is more related to your self-esteem versus your intellect. Either way, there is conflict. Maybe you’re not grasping something as fast as you were hoping. It’s a test and you’re ready to pass.

Clarifiers: 3 of Pentacles. 8 of Pentacles, 9 of Wands, 3 of Swords

This is starting to feel like building a business or brand! The delay here is causing a sense of entrapment and stagnancy. I think you need to switch things up – if you’re struggling to grasp a concept, try a different approach to retaining information. Instead of studying charts, maybe create a study guide. Or, if you’ve been writing down notes, create flashcards. Regarding the 8 of Wands and 3 of Swords, there is a great deal of pain behind this goal of yours. I think you may need to address what is pushing you so hard (and making you be so hard on yourself) before you can make any more progress.

I recommend aquamarine to help with your creativity and chrysocolla to promote a healthy work environment.

Leo

  • Devil: bad habits, stuck in pain

  • Fool: a beginning, feeling “foolish”

  • Ace of Swords: new mindset, starting over

You’re definitely shaking off old habits, the “old you”, so to speak. The Devil card is usually interpreted as struggling with addiction or harmful behaviors. Since the Fool card and Ace of Swords came out, too, I think it’s safe to say that you’re entering uncharted territory with yourself. Maybe this is a change that you’ve wanted to implement for a long time, and because you’ve never pulled through (this far), it’s looking a bit intimidating. I give you kudos on making it this far and know that if you really want this, it’s going to be more intimidating at times, but you can do it.

Clarifiers: 9 of Pentacles, Knight of Wands, Queen of Swords, Hermit

This feels like a life-changing decision! I think that you know what you want and you know what it takes. The Queen of Swords feels like “kicking ass and taking names.” I think you’re moving with laser-like precision (or you will be soon). and I encourage you to always take some time out of your week to evaluate where you are. Make sure that you’re still going the right way. I think the Knight of Wands being here is good, too. Maybe you’ll start reaching out to those you need to get in contact with so you can keep moving forward. The 9 of Pentacles also feels like “success within reach”, so keep going!

I recommend aventurine and black tourmaline. Black tourmaline will help you stay grounded, ward off any nearby negative energy, while aventurine will help money find its way to you.

Sagittarius

  • 4 of Pentacles: stability, financially safe

  • Judgment (reversed): reminiscing on decisions, nostalgia

  • 10 of Swords: dead in the water, exhausted, burnout

Sag, I think you’re rebuilding yourself after a recent collapse. I occasionally interpret Judgement to be looking back on past decisions and planning to make better ones. A renewed sense of right and wrong, so to speak. I feel like you may be trying to come to terms with what has happened recently – maybe a breakup or the sudden loss of self-esteem.

Clarifiers: Hermit, 8 of Cups, 7 of Pentacles, 3 of Pentacles

I called it! Definitely rebuilding. I think some alone time - arguably journaling, as well – will help with the healing process. You are trying to move on from past hurt, but maybe you’ve been trying to ignore your hurt feelings in the process, thus delaying everything that is waiting for you. It feels like a waste of time to do anything right now (and it is) because you haven’t addressed these hurt feelings.

I will recommend you the same crystals I recommended Aries: aquamarine and chrysocolla.

Scorpio

  • Page of Swords: refocus

  • The Chariot: rushing, quick new start

  • The Sun: outshining the negative, positivity, hope

My first impressions are that you’re hustling to get something done, maybe something that will change your life for the better. There’s a feeling of brushing yourself off and refocusing on what’s in front of you. I dare say maybe some of you are considering taking yourselves more seriously and deciding to invest in yourself, whether that means purchasing an LLC or maybe signing up for an online course that you’ve been eyeballing. I feel like you’re choosing yourself and leveling up in a way, like “now is the time to try this.”

Clarifiers: Queen of Pentacles, 2 of Cups, 6 of Wands, Wheel

A new cycle is beginning. Something is pushing you forward to what you’ve always wanted to do. It’s safe to say that you have or will discover a new depth of self-love. You’re finally realizing what you deserve. I think April will be an eye-opening month for you. Don’t be surprised if you have new opportunities come your way that enhance your life or uproot it. As always, proceed with caution, but also with some optimism. This could be what you’ve been waiting for.

I recommend selenite to help cleanse your mind for what’s to come and labradorite for protection from any negative influences.

Pisces

  • Knight of Swords: stressor incoming

  • 2 of Pentacles: imbalance, balance, reevaluate

  • 3 of Pentacles: building, stabilizing

Pisces, you need to take a step back and look at your priorities. I think you will spend a good chunk of April reevaluating your priorities and changing up your morning and evening routines. There is a lack of balance regarding your work life and your everyday life. I’m almost certain that you will be switching things up, maybe even doing simple things like waking up a half-hour earlier or trying to survive a dopamine detox. If things are somewhat okay by the time you are reading this, keep an eye out for disruptions that may throw you off-kilter for a while. You’ll have to readjust.

Clarifiers: 10 of Cups (reversed), Hierophant, Fool, Star

It’s okay to be eccentric and a little weird. I think some of this upheaval may be coming from trying to conform and do what everyone else is doing. We’re all different for a reason, and that is more than okay! Take time in April to fully accept yourself for who you are. It’s okay to reinvent yourself in an effort to grow into who you believe you are. I think being traditional is making life a bit hard for you because you want to be accepted. Accept yourself for who you are today. Your time will come. Your tribe will find you.

I recommend rose quartz and clear quartz to help with realignment and clearing negative energies that have stuck to you.

Cancer

  • 2 of Cups: self-love, true love

  • The Chariot: rushing, quick new start

  • 3 of Wands (reversed): uncertainty, stalling

There is something you’re holding yourself back from doing. This could be talking about a career move, but I feel like it may be a creative project of sorts. You’re ready to get started, but you haven’t laid enough of the foundation down yet. I think you should spend some more time in your head, planning out your next moves, before you call it quits on this new adventure. Brainstorm for a little bit. Allow your mind to see all the different outcomes, even the unfavorable ones. You’ll be glad you did. Think of this as a way to prepare versus “wasting time daydreaming.”

Clarifiers: High Priestess, 2 of Swords (reversed), 9 of Cups (reversed), 10 of wands (reversed)

Consider asking for help when it comes to getting this project off the ground. It’s okay to know your limits and to trust yourself, but also know when you’re out of your realm of genius. Part of this feeling of being trapped comes from being unprepared, hence my suggestion for some extensive brainstorming. Find your weak spots and look for someone within your social circle to help you cover them. I get the feeling that nothing with this project is set in stone quite yet, so allow yourself the room to let things change. Asking for help is never a bad thing, but you want to make sure you are helped. Find someone you trust to assist you with this.

I recommend Aries’ stones: aquamarine and chrysocolla.

Taurus

  • Strength (reversed): weak, at others’ mercy

  • 8 of Swords: trapped, restricted, tied down

  • Magician (reversed): out of control, it’s “out of my hands”

You may have been feeling trapped these last few months. Since the 8 of Swords is reversed, I can’t say that you’re not still feeling this way by the time April rolls around. I suggest that you remember your strengths. Remember your previous lows, where you’ve been before, and how you overcame them. How you climbed out and survived and prospered afterward.

Clarifiers: 5 of Pentacles, Ace of Pentacles, King of Pentacles, 7 of Cups (reversed)

There’s a feeling of lacking here, maybe even feeling foolish due to how little there appears to be around you. The Pentacles cards give this reading a “financial edge” – I feel like you may be having trouble with your money. Perhaps, like Scorpio and Aries, you are trying to build something for yourself. Maybe you’re trying to build up your credit score or become more financially stable (lots of pressure with this one). I think you’re starting to see the reality and the sacrifices required for what you’re trying to do, and you’re feeling trapped and overwhelmed. One thing that could help you is to break down your ultimate goal into small chunks that you can accomplish within a day, a week, or a month. If the goal is to save money, put away five dollars every paycheck.

I recommend aventurine and citrine to help with this. Citrine helps with relinquishing yourself from negative beliefs.

Virgo

  • Devil: bad habits, stuck in pain

  • Empress: abundance, sharing, nurturing

  • 4 of Swords (reversed): unable to rest, busy mind

Someone is running themselves ragged here! I think this is a bad habit of yours – running and doing until you can’t anymore, and then you’re stuck in bed for a few days. Relax. The world isn’t going away. Maybe you’re playing catch up with some life stuff, but you don’t need to do it all in one day. By the time this message gets to you, you might be realizing this.

Clarifiers: 6 of Pentacles, Emperor (reversed), Wheel, 9 of Cups

First impressions are: you would be much happier if you took more time to rest. I think writing a weekly to-do list (even a monthly one) would help you slow down. There’s a strong sense of urgency to free up your time for other things, but you can’t do anything if you’re burned out before you even start. Take on the energy of the Emperor here and prioritize. What needs to be done ASAP? What can wait a few days? This new way of completing your task lists and resting will increase your productivity tenfold without you feeling so tired all the time. Consider trying this out in April.

I recommend black tourmaline and jade. Jade helps promote peace in your home and black tourmaline will ground you.

Capricorn

  • 5 of Wands: competition, uneasiness in the workplace

  • Judgment (reversed): reminiscing on decisions, nostalgia

  • 2 of Pentacles: imbalance, balance, reevaluate

You may be feeling a bit inadequate in your field right now, perhaps even wondering why you signed up for this in the first place. Like Pisces, there may be an imbalance here. All work, no life. All stress, no play. Take a few days off, if you can, and reorganize your life. You may be competing with others in your industry, but are you? Look at your relationships with your business partners with a more compassionate, light-hearted lens.

Clarifiers: King of Pentacles (reversed), Empress, 10 of Swords (reversed), Ace of Cups (reversed)

I always say that to counter imposter syndrome, you should study more. Expose yourself to whatever knowledge you think you didn’t earn. Learn what you “cheated your way out of learning.” Not only will you start to feel better, but you’ll be obtaining genuine knowledge at the same time. The imposter syndrome will start to go away because you “just finished studying.” I think you need to sit with yourself and remember why you’re entering this field. To help people? To spread joy through a shared love of art? Remember your WHY.

I recommend kunzite to increase self-confidence and silver to help with accepting change in your life.

Overall Energy for the Collective in April 2021:

A majority of the collective is preparing themselves for the next step in their lives. However, due to low self-esteem or low self-love, they are having trouble realizing their potential and utilizing their gifts. They need to turn inward to themselves with love and then things will start to move in their lives. Many of them need to embrace the idea of planning out their next move and asking for help when they feel lost.

The stones I recommend the most for everyone at this time are aventurine, rose quartz, and black tourmaline.

Take care, everyone! See you in May.

Taia
